Vanessa and Camrie

We witnessed this routine numerous times while in Washington for the open house. Love it!! I have no idea where they heard it. Sorry it's sideways. Enjoy-

Cleveland Rocks!!

Ever heard anyone say, 'If Cleveland is a rockin, don't come a knockin!'? Yeah, me neither but we did have a great time there and the surrounding areas. Why Cleveland? Well, Taylor's been everywhere, I wanted to do something different and we both like amusement parks. So, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio was the choice. If you are ever in the neighborhood remember these names: Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, and Magnum. They will change your life for sure. We also hit the skyride and bumper cars- two of our favorites.
On the days we didn't hit the park we visited the church sites and Temple in Kirtland and the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Overall, the city of Cleveland is pretty quiet, but it made a great excuse for us to stay in..... and eat cake! Probably our favorite memory- sitting in bed eating the top layer of our wedding cake, night after night. Yummy! Hope you enjoy a few pictures above!

...happily ever after.

Well, it's been a little over three weeks and with one amazing wedding day, a fabulous trip to the Midwest, and only one pregnancy scare I can say married life is quite enjoyable. The wedding day was so fun. Having never done it before I had no idea what to expect. Getting all dressed up and seeing all our friends and family- I could do that again! The sealing was great. I can't remember much of what was said- some good advice on serving each other, the importance of family and the blessings of starting our own. I also remember looking at my dad who was smiling and winked at me. (Actually, if any of you were there and remember something special that was said, I would appreciate the reminder.) Then the rush to get changed into the dress and tux. I have to go on record and say I tried to be fast changing. I thought I was- I was informed otherwise. Sorry for all you who were waiting- hopefully it wasn't too painful. It was a beautiful day at least! To continue the brief summary- we then headed to the 23rd Floor of the Wells Fargo Building for some really good food. The views from the top are so amazing of the valley, yet all my nieces wanted to see was where East High was- High School Musical forever! With only about an hour before the reception, the day was speeding by but wonderful. The Garden at the Lion House was such a great setting for the final piece of the day. Although one word of advice if you ever get married or have a reception outside, don't stand under a tree. Shortly before the reception, a bird relieved itself on me, my mom, and my niece. Funny now, but at the time I would have inflicted such pain on that little creature. Overall, Taylor and I loved the day. Thank you all for making it so special for us. I hope you enjoy the pics.
